Privacy policy

Aeternus Performance LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“Aeternus Performance,” “we,” “us”), operates aeternusperformance.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

One form on this site collects personal data: the founding list signup. It asks for your email address, and optionally which group best describes you, chosen from a short list such as “coach or trainer” or “building my own knowledge.” It does not ask for your name.

When you submit it, we store:

• your email address;
• the group you selected, if you selected one;
• the exact wording of the consent statement you agreed to, so that what you consented to is a matter of record rather than of memory;
• the page you submitted the form from; and
• a shortened description of your browser, kept only to detect automated abuse of the form.

Our contact page is a plain email link, not a form. If you email us, we hold that email in our mailbox like any other correspondence. Nothing you send that way passes through this website.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, information about your own health, symptoms, hormone levels, lab results, medications, or peptide use. We are an education publisher, not a healthcare provider. The cheapest and most reliable way to protect sensitive health data is never to hold it, so we don't.

We run no advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers, and no cookie-based analytics. There is no account system, so there is nothing to log in to and no profile attached to you.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, both served from our own domain. Neither sets a cookie or a persistent identifier, and neither records anything that would let us reconstruct your visit across pages or tie a measurement to you. They record the page, approximate country, device and browser type, connection speed, and page-performance measurements such as how long the page took to become usable.

Because nothing here identifies you or follows you between sites, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If that ever changes, this section changes with it, and the banner arrives before the tracking does.

We use your email to tell you when the founding list opens and to send education from Aeternus Performance. That is it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

For readers in the EU and UK, our legal basis for marketing email is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, captured by an opt-in checkbox that is never pre-ticked, with the consent wording and the page you gave it on recorded alongside it. Our basis for the limited abuse-prevention data is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): keeping the form usable for real people. You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did while it was valid.

Founding list data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. There is no fixed expiry, because the list exists to tell you about something that has not launched yet, and we would rather you decide when you are done than have us guess.

Email correspondence: up to 24 months after your question is resolved, then deleted unless we have a specific legal reason to keep it longer.

Two companies, both in the United States, both bound by contract to process data only on our instructions:

• Vercel Inc. hosts the site and provides the analytics described above.
• Supabase Inc. stores founding list signups in a database on our behalf.

If you are in the EU or UK, this means your data is transferred to the United States. We rely on the transfer mechanisms in our agreements with these providers. When we add an email delivery provider, which we will need before the first list email goes out, this section will name them before that email is sent.

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can unsubscribe from anything we send. We will not ask you to justify the request and we will not make the process difficult.

For deletion specifically, the data deletion page sets out exactly what to send, what gets removed, and how long it takes.

Readers in the EU and UK additionally have rights to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your national data protection authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right to ask stands. Residents of Washington, Nevada, and other states with consumer health data laws may have further rights; we hold no health data about you, which is the point.

To exercise any of these, email contact@aeternusperformance.com. We respond within the time the applicable law allows, and sooner in practice.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect what we hold, and the simplest of those is holding very little. Database credentials are never exposed to your browser.

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted an email address to us, contact us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects people already on the founding list, we will say so directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
