Data deletion

How to ask us to delete what we hold about you, what that actually amounts to, and how long it takes.

Effective 15 August 2026

How to request deletion

Email contact@aeternusperformance.com with the subject line Data deletion request, from the email address you want deleted.

That is the whole process. You do not need to give a reason, you do not need an account, and there is nothing to fill in. We ask you to send it from the address in question only because that address is the single identifier we hold, so it is how we find your record. If you cannot send from it, write from any address and tell us which one to remove.

We act within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. We will confirm by reply when it is done. If we cannot identify any data matching your request, we will tell you that instead of leaving you wondering.

What we hold, and what deletion actually removes

Very little, deliberately. If you joined the founding list, we hold one row containing your email address, an optional segment you chose, the exact consent wording shown to you at the time, the timestamp, the page you signed up from, and a truncated browser user-agent string. We do not collect your name.

Deletion removes that row entirely. It is not flagged, hidden, or archived, and it is removed from any email list built from it.

If you have emailed us, we also hold that correspondence in our mailbox. Say so in your request and we will delete that too.

We never ask for and never store health information, so there is none to delete. The privacy policy sets out the full picture.

Analytics, and why there is nothing there to delete

This site uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Both are first-party and cookieless. They record page views and performance timings without setting a cookie, without fingerprinting, and without any identifier that could be linked back to you.

That means there is no analytics record of you for us to find, which is a consequence of how the site was built rather than a limitation on your rights. We are stating it plainly rather than implying a deletion we cannot meaningfully perform.

Our Instagram integration: what it does and does not touch

Aeternus Performance operates a Meta application used to publish our own educational posts to our own Instagram account, @aeternusperformance.

The scope of that application is narrow, and it is worth being exact about it:

  • It publishes content we have written to an account we own.
  • It does not read, collect, store, or process personal data belonging to any other Instagram user. Not profiles, not follower lists, not comments, not direct messages, not media.
  • It does not offer login, accounts, or any service to third parties. Nobody other than us connects anything to it.

So if you follow or interact with us on Instagram, we hold no data about you through that application, and there is nothing for us to delete on that basis. Data Instagram itself holds about your account is governed by Meta’s own policies and is deleted through Instagram, not through us.

If you have sent us an Instagram direct message and want it removed from our inbox, email the address above and say so.

If you are asking on behalf of someone else

We will act on a request from a parent or guardian, or from an authorised agent. Tell us the relationship and the email address concerned. We may ask for enough information to be confident the request is genuine, because deleting the wrong person’s record on an unverified request is its own harm.

Our services are not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted an email address to us, tell us and we will delete it without requiring anything further.
